About the Role:Hays are currently looking for a talented Interim Management Accountant to join a retail company based in Plymouth, Devon. This is a full-time, hybrid role with an immediate start, expected to last up to 9 months, with the potential for extension. The organisation in question is a large retail organisation, with stores across the country.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and present monthly management accounts

Analyse financial performance and provide insights

Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes

Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards

Support internal and external audits

Collaborate with various departments to optimise financial performance

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Management Accountant

Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Background in retail is ideal but not essential.

Ideally fully qualified, but QBE (Qualified by Experience) candidates will be considered
