An Interim Team Manager is required to join Bristol City Council This role offers hybrid working of 2-3 days on-site in the office in the Knowle area. Initially perhaps more on site to get to know the team, the work etc.
You will be responsible for overseeing a busy social work team. You will cover duty one week in four, supervise senior practitioner, social worker and unregulated practitioners. This will include giving case direction, support, Quality assurance, governance & best value, using tier one & two services.
To join this small authorities management team, it is essential that you have a Diploma/Degree in Social Work, CQSW, CSS or equivalent, and full professional registration with Social Work England as well as experience of being responsible manager for S42 enquiries. You will need to have at least 4 years social work experience. If you feel that you have excellent leadership skills, the experience and enthusiasm to promote best practice and keep staff motivated, then we are keen to hear from you. In return you will be provided with regular supervision and support, learning and development opportunities and the chance to shape the future of the service.
