International Tax Manager - Maternity Cover - UK (London)

Employment Type: Fixed Term Full Time

The Role:

The 12 month fixed-term full time International Tax Manager will report to the Global Head of Tax and be an integral part of Sonnedix's Tax Team. The International Tax Manager will play an important role in the accurate IFRS reporting of group income taxes, monitoring tax compliance around the Group, ensuring Transfer Pricing documentation requirements are met and managing the outsourced US tax compliance process.

The International Tax Manager will work with the Group's tax advisers around the world to mitigate tax risks and take advantage of opportunities; keep up to speed with changing tax rules in various countries in which the Group operates and making recommendations to optimise tax; monitor local tax compliance in each jurisdiction and manage the process to ensure all local filings have been completed on time and support the management of the tax investigations or local audits in partnership with local Financial Controllers.

Desirable skills:

  1. ACA or CTA qualified (Chartered Tax Adviser of the Chartered Institute of Taxation).
  2. Solid understanding of accounting, including tax accounting, and project/finance principles.
  3. Proactive self-starter with problem solving mind set.
  4. Experience of implementing new tax accounting software would be a plus but not essential.
