Investment Grade Corporate Credit Trader

Description of Business Line / Role

Our Distribution and Credit Solutions division has been built out of our Global Markets Fixed Income and Currencies and Investment Banks arms to develop a client centric approach to financing.

Within this role, the focus is on assisting corporate clients with their credit trading of Investment Grade Bonds, while working with colleagues to develop broader investment strategies.

Along with someone who can work on trades for our clients, we are ideally looking for someone who can also assist in the future development of the team/ offering.

Key Responsibilities

1. Pricing and execution of relevant transactions
2. Manage own book and hedge risk appropriately
3. Ensure all procedural and regulatory guidelines are upheld
4. Develop our profile as a reliable market maker to build long term relationships with clients based on trust and professionalism.
5. Develop client franchise by having strong interactions with sales and engineer teams while working in partnership with sales team to communicate market flows, trade ideas and any relevant trading information to support revenue generation

Experience / Competencies Required

1. Market knowledge and experience in investment banking/ financial services industry
2. Strong corporate client network/ relationships
3. Proven background in market making IG products
4. Highly motivated with a desire to develop both personally and to help build the team/ department
5. Strong analytical skills with an aptitude for numbers and excellent attention to detail
