IT Project Manager PMO (m/f/d)

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic IT Project Manager to join our team in Mönchengladbach. In this role, you will oversee and manage complex IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and with high quality. You will be responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of IT initiatives, working closely with stakeholders and applying best practices in project management.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Management: Lead and manage large-scale IT projects from planning through to completion.
• Budget and Reporting: Monitor project budgets, providing regular updates and reports.
• End-to-End Project Ownership: Take full responsibility for the timely, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery of projects.
• Scope and Structure: Define project scope, develop plans, and structure the project for success.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with Business Relationship Management (BRM) to clarify and coordinate project requirements.
• Communication Strategy: Manage stakeholders, perform analysis, and create communication plans to ensure transparency and alignment.
• Project Planning: Define work packages, establish timelines, and identify interdependencies between projects.
• Leadership: Lead cross-functional IT teams to achieve project goals, identifying integrative topics and dependencies between workstreams.
• Workshops & Meetings: Organize and facilitate project workshops, status meetings, and decision-making sessions.
• Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure successful project execution.
• Project Methodologies: Apply project management methodologies like PRINCE2, PMI, or IPMA for effective project execution.

What You Bring

• Education: A university degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience managing IT projects.
• Methodology Expertise: Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (PRINCE2, PMI, IPMA).
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and a solid understanding of ERP systems and IT landscapes.
• Soft Skills: Excellent analytical and conceptual skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively in a team.
• Mindset: Structured, solution-oriented, and capable of working independently with a high level of initiative.
• Flexibility: Willingness to travel as needed and adaptability to changing project demands.
• Languages: Fluency in both German and English, written and spoken.
