As an IT Servicedesk Engineer, you will be working for a leading global IT and business services company. They provide various services, including IT consulting, systems integration, application management, and outsourcing. Our client works with organizations across a variety of industries, including government, healthcare, finance, energy, and telecommunications. To join their team, they are looking for a Polish-speaking Servicedesk Engineer.

Salary indication from €2.600,- to €3.400,- gross per month, depending on knowledge and work experience.

  • You have a good command of Polish, Dutch, and English, both spoken and written;
  • You have knowledge of Microsoft OS, MS Office 365, Active Directory, Networking, and ITIL;

As an IT Servicedesk Engineer, you will be the main point of contact for customers with questions or issues related to computing and IT services. You will handle the accurate registration, monitoring, and resolution of IT malfunctions and service requests, solving a large proportion of customer inquiries yourself. The goal is to achieve a resolution rate of 80% during the first customer contact, such as resolving issues in the first conversation.

For more complex issues, you will collaborate with second- and third-line colleagues, working intensively to provide the best service. Additionally, you will identify trends in disruptions and translate these insights into improvement proposals. This may involve writing knowledge articles that help both service desk colleagues and end users find solutions independently.

You are proactive, understand the importance of teamwork, and are confident in your role. Assertiveness and the ability to give and receive feedback come naturally to you. You take responsibility and honor the agreements you make. You are persistent and flexible in your approach. Furthermore, you will be part of a 24/7 Standby Team, where you will be on call for a week at regular intervals.
