Position: IT Service Delivery Manager (ITIL)
Location: London (Hybrid)

Purpose of the Role

We looking for a driven and enthusiastic individual for this newly created role. This role is responsible for ensuring that all IT services are provided efficiently and meet the needs of the business. This includes managing some key ITIL practices, including Change, Problem, licence, CSI and Service Asset and Configuration Management. In addition, we are looking for someone to own the business and third-party relationship management and be involved in the IT risk and service strategies. We are seeking somebody that can drive innovation and automation through proactive management and intelligent MI reporting. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced IT Service Manager with market experience to take ownership of IT service delivery and taking service delivery to the next level of maturity and best practice.

Duties and Accountabilities

  • Accountability for Business Relationship Management, understanding the business IT service requirements across the business and identify continual service improvements
  • Responsible for monitoring performance of IT MI & KPI reporting across IT, ensure that decisions can be made based on informed data
  • Management of key third-party relationships ensuring that the partnership is meeting the business demands and value
  • Implementation and management of some key ITIL best practise across the department. Including the Change Control, Problem, SACM, CSI, and Licence management
  • Implement and manage user groups based on application to drive enhancements and ensure that products continue to more forward and meet the business demands, ensure that delivery models are in place to meet the business demand
  • Financial Management, overseeing the financial aspects of IT Service Delivery including budgeting and cost control, including third party invoicing.
  • Development of IT controls, policy and process documentation

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

The successful candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • ITIL qualifications
  • Excellent experience around IT controls, Business Relationship Management and Vendor Management
  • Be an exceptional communicator and influencer, and have a proven track record of managing a successful team
  • Be self-motivated with a proactive approach, and able to develop strong relationships inside and outside the team
  • Possess a positive attitude and be prepared to work as required to meet objectives, and being prepared to get hands-on
  • Commercial acumen and experience of placing/tracking orders and dealing with 3rd party vendors
  • Knowledge of Lloyd's/London Market or general insurance is preferable but not essential
