Reporting to the Director of Market Access and Institutional Relations France Benelux, the Market Access Manager contributes to the definition of the national and local market access strategy in France, Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg and executes the strategy to obtain and/or maintain the best access condition for the company's product portfolio (assessment, price, reimbursement, funding).


Essential Functions


• Analyses the clinical and health economic value of our products as compared to products on the market and actively participates in the development of the market access strategy for France, Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg, ensuring alignment with Europe/International Patient Access and Value (PAV) teams along the way.


• Develops or coordinates the development by external vendors of the dossiers and argumentation aiming at demonstrating the clinical and economic value of our products (dossiers for the Transparency Commission (CT), dossiers for CEESP, price dossiers for the Pricing Committee (CEPS), pharmacotherapeutic and pharmacoeconomic dossiers for Zorginstituut Nederland (ZiN), dossiers for CRM-CTG, scientific and economic dossiers for hospital formulary listings), in collaboration with the Medical department for the scientific and medical aspects.


• Collaborates closely with the Medical department for post-reimbursement studies (contributes to the definition of the research question and the development of the protocols, participates in the preparation of the scientific committee meetings, and attends the meetings )


• Collaborates closely with the Medical department and Pharmaceutical Affairs department to develop the early access strategy for innovative products.


• Defines the needs for generation of real-world evidence of a health-economic nature (economic burden, budget impact, target population quantification ) and coordinates the execution of these studies with external vendors if necessary. Ensures the valorization of the health-economic data generated (publication, development of tools for the field forces )


• Participates in the development of the tendering strategy and commercial strategies.


• Collaborates with Customer Service for the responses to call for tenders, their follow-up and proper execution as well as information feedback in these areas (including relations with the buyers, in support of Customer Service).


• Develops the relations with key hospital stakeholders (Pharmacists in particular) in collaboration with the Commercial and Medical teams.


• Meets with local stakeholders participating in the access and funding of our hospital products in healthcare facilities.


• Ensures that our medicines are listed by healthcare establishments, in collaboration with the commercial and medical teams.


• Collaborates with internal stakeholders in headquarters and in the field (KAMs, NAMs, Marketing, Customer Service, Pharmaceutical Affairs )


• Monitors the economic environment of pharmaceuticals, hospital environment, legislative changes impacting market access and news related to market access of competitors; analyses and disseminates the information internally.


• Provides information to PRMA on the price and reimbursement conditions of our product portfolio in France.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Good knowledge of the pharmaceutical environment, health policies, health economic issues
• Perfect knowledge of the bodies involved in health technology assessment in France (CT, CEESP, CEPS) and their expectations, proficiency around the drug pricing system in the retail and hospital settings.
• Understanding of the organisation of healthcare in France, of the hospitals' financial and institutional environment (Regional Health Agencies, OMéDITs, control commissions etc.)

Required/Preferred Education and Licenses
• Scientific degree (pharmacist, medical doctor or other) or degree in Health Economics
• Ideally, additional education in market access or health economics
• At least 5 years' experience in pharmaceutical market access (price, reimbursement, health economics, regional access )

• Computer proficiency and in particular Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) and Microsoft Outlook
• Fluent and professional English mandatory (written and oral)
• Mastery of the main remote communication tools (ex. Zoom, Teams)
• Regular travel
