Lead Security Analyst

Lead security analyst needed for a 1 year contract with our corporate client, to start this side of Christmas.

you'll work within this business Global Cyber Security Monitoring Team, analysing, responding and correlating security alerts and events, taking appropriate action to mitigate and determine the extent of malicious activity.

This Lead Security post is fully remote role within a transatlantic and supportive team. (MUST BE BASED IN THE UK).

Essential skills for the role:-

• Minimum 5 - 8 years experience in a cyber setting
• SME across a range of areas to include alert monitoring, incident response, cloud security
• Advanced knowledge of network protocols, packet captures, security controls and concepts
• Analytical approach to problems - comfortable analysing security events, coordinating response to incidents, driving investigations
• Excellent communication skills, to include verbal and written
• Comfortable taking the lead where needed in a team centric environment
• Fully committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities

Likely expertise will include:-

• Incident response experience
• Good handle on cloud security, architecture and cloud storage
• Bachelors in Cyber Security or Computing
• Security related certifications (CISSP, Security+, CEH etc)
• Knowledge of Scripting, SIEM, standard ticketing systems, web app Firewalls, PKI, vulnerability scanning
