Legal Counsel/ Compliance Manager (m/f/d) - limited to 1.5 years

Your new job includes:

  • Performing a legal (pre-)review and evaluation of various (international) in-house legal matters.
  • Assessing and advising on various compliance-related issues in a national and international context and providing advice on strategies for services and products from a legal perspective.
  • Providing advice and drafting, reviewing, and negotiating in particular commercial and procurement contracts, service contracts, and other legal documents.
  • Monitoring and preparing the possible impact of business-relevant legal issues and requirements and deriving measures to be taken.
  • Being jointly responsible for commissioning and managing external law firms and service providers.
  • Handling and accompanying the official procedures with and, if necessary, in the company of the executive manager.
What you should bring along:
  • Completed law studies, preferably 2nd state examination or comparable qualification.
  • First professional experience, ideally in an international trading company or law firm.
  • Experience in managing service providers and in negotiating with international suppliers and customers.
  • Experience in the preparation of expert opinions as well as (initial) experience in due diligence and (third party) risk management.
  • Fluent knowledge of the German and English languages, both written and spoken.
  • High level of proactivity and enjoyment of teamwork.
  • Interest in geopolitical contexts that have an impact on the travel of different nationalities/countries.
