Hourly Rates - £15.28ph + £2.52ph additional night rate between 18:00 to 06:00 + £19.86 subsistence allowance per day + £8.81 food allowance per day.
Location: DPD Maidstone, Unit C Riverside Bus Park, New Hythe Lane, Larkfield, Kent, ME20 6WT
Days of Work: Monday-Friday

Job Description
As a Class 1 Relief / Tramper driver, you will be responsible for executing bulk collections and deliveries between various DPD sites and customers nationwide. Your primary duty will be to operate modern fleet vehicles on an agreed shift pattern, delivering palette loads to HGV-friendly locations.
Undertake a minimum of four nights per week of overnight stays, utilising the vehicle's sleeping accommodation at one of our secure locations.
Operate within a designated region surrounding your base depot, ensuring efficient route management and timely deliveries.
Adhere strictly to all road safety regulations and company policies while representing DPD in a professional manner.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all collections and deliveries.
Conduct regular vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
Demonstrate proficiency in operating various types of HGVs within the modern fleet.
Utilise digital tachograph equipment correctly and maintain compliance with driving hours regulations.
Uphold the highest standards of customer service when interacting with clients during collections and deliveries.
Contribute to the company's commitment to environmental responsibility through fuel-efficient driving practices.
Participate in any required training or professional development to enhance skills and maintain industry knowledge.
Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
Possession of a valid UK Class 1 Driving Licence is mandatory.
A minimum of 12 months verifiable Class 1 driving experience is strictly required.
Current and valid UK Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) Card must be maintained at all times.
A valid UK Digital Tachograph Card is essential for legal compliance.
