We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager for a large production facility near Norwich. You will support the site services and facilities of this busy manufacturing plant.
Your new role
You will lead the site maintenance function in providing both a reactive and proactive maintenance service on all operational equipment and facilities infrastructure. You will be responsible for workflows, service calls, annual PPM and planned outages. You will be responsible for planning the maintenance schedule and ensuring timely completion of works carried out, delegating any maintenance issues to be resolved on each shift, including small projects, and managing effective works.
You will ensure all buildings, plant and facilities are fit for purpose, ensuring machine availability whilst liaising with shift management, you will ensure routine calibration and maintenance of electro-mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems are undertaken. Leading a team of experienced engineers and managing contractors to ensure engineering KPIs are met and the site operates safely and efficiently.
What you'll need to succeed
As an experienced Engineer with strong mechanical and good electrical knowledge, you will have a strong understanding of health & safety, COSHH, PUWER, LOLER, with a history of managing multi-skilled maintenance teams, devising a maintenance schedule with planning for shutdowns and outages.
