Job Description
An established food manufacturer is looking for a new Maintenance Manager, paying up to £60,000.

Your new company
A global multinational food processing company, based in the surrounding Bristol area, is seeking a Maintenance Manager to join their ranks. With a large presence and substantial growth potential, this company offers career progression and continuous development opportunities. Following growth in the maintenance team, this company is looking for a new Maintenance Manager to direct and oversee the maintenance team to develop their performance.

Your new role
As the Maintenance Manager, you will be vital in ensuring the most optimal performance within the factory. You will have to effectively manage the maintenance teams and drive the site toward a TPM mentality while balancing reactionary maintenance and a planned preventative maintenance schedule. This role operates on a shift pattern of days, Monday to Friday. Your leadership abilities will have to be excellent as you will be responsible for providing leadership and mentorship to your team, building an environment and culture of performance and consistency.

  • Implementing preventative maintenance programs for the entire site's machinery.
  • Operating under a mindset of ensuring safety and quality work is conducted.
  • Coordination of your team of maintenance engineers.
  • Ensuring appropriate record keeping of maintenance work and schedules in line with the company's polices.
  • Collaborating with individuals of all levels to ensure optimum function and communication throughout the business.
  • Ensuring strict adherence to Health and Safety guidelines alongside company policy.

    What you'll need to succeed
    To be successful in your application for the Maintenance Manager, you will:
  • Have proven history within a maintenance role, mechanical or electrical.
  • Have proven examples of experience in a supervisory role or actions of this type.
  • Have exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Have strong problem-solving abilities with the ability to work under your own initiative and responsibility.
