Maintenance Operative - Roofing & Cladding • Permanent• Staffordshire, West Midlands• £24,000 per annum• Full time Monday to Friday 07:00 - 16:30• 40 hoursZeal Recruitment has been selected to help a highly regarded facilities management company to recruit a commercial Maintenance Operative/Gutter Cleaner focusing on Roofing & Cladding on a permanent basis working on commercial sites within the Tamworth area. The role of Maintenance Operative/Gutter Cleaner will be helping support the wider team of specialist's onsite, to complete reactive and repairs to guttering and roofing. Your duties will include:• Follow a schedule of planned works to endure works are complete• Carry out cleaning jobs in a timely and efficient manner.• Report and issues to Team Leader of any building defects to the guttering and roof• Making sure you have the necessary tools as per the tools list• Complete accurate reports, job sheets and mileage logs daily• Adhere to H&S policies• Helping keep the company vehicle clean and tidy (you will be sharing a Van with the supervisor)• Carry out a instructions as pre the Team leader request• Liaising with contractors and escorting them as and when required• Operate the MEWP (1A, 3A and 3B) Platform• BE able to demonstrate basic problem solving• Attend training courses as and when• Liaise with HO to order materials• Be able to work additional hours• Be prepared to stay away during the week (1-2 Nights hotel and food paid for)The Maintenance Operative must have:• IPAF - if expired the company will pay for your test to renew• SSSTS (Desirable)• Clean Drivers License• Knowledge of relevant legislation• Experience of working on gutter and roofingThe successful Maintenance Operative/Gutter Cleaner will be working for a business that take care of their staff with great career prospects.
