Your new roleHays are seeking a skilled Maintenance Plumber on behalf of our client, to join their Leicester team on a permanent contract, starting as soon as possible. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out response plumbing maintenance tasks within social housing properties across the Leicestershire and Northamptonshire region.Hours: Full-time, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Duties & Responsibilities
- Complete response plumbing tasks and repairs to a high standard.
- Address household issues such as leaks, bathroom fittings.
- Liaise with the Customer Care team to provide the best assistance for each customer.
- Deliver excellent customer service.
- Travel to different sites according to your rota, with quarterly sector reviews to ensure efficiency.
Experience & Qualifications
- Qualified Plumber with relevant experience and a minimum Level 2 NVQ.
- Proficiency with smartphones/tablets is desirable.
- Must hold a full UK driving licence.
- Demonstrate strong literacy and numeracy skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to organisational changes.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- The ability to use initiative, both independently and as part of a team, to complete tasks assigned by the Line Manager.
- Capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
- Adaptable, conscientious, and a good team player.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality service.
