Your new role
As the Management Accountant, you will be reporting to the Financial Controller who used to perform this role and will be delivering a smooth and timely service within the accounts department. Your role will be working as a key member of the accounting team. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts for group companies, including analysis of KPIs / budgets.
- Reconciliation of intercompany balances and group financial position.
- Preparation and submission of UK VAT returns.
- Managed year-end reporting processes and liaising with external auditors.
- Daily revenue reconciliation, (insurance specific) Bordereau preparation / submission and monthly drawdown.
- Accomplished Excel user: including vlookups, pivot tables, data manipulation, formulas.
- Supplier ledgers, invoicing, accruals, prepayments, deferred & accrued income, nominal, reporting.
- Cash flow forecasting / budgetary preparation and analysis.
