Job Description

Our client, a leading alternative asset manager is searching for a new Managing Director who can support their Global MD as they look to expand their portfolio across the UK, Europe, North America and Australasia. This is a newly created role due to the expansion of the business. Very generous salary package.

The role will suit someone who has:

  • The ability to come in and lead an international/global energy transition business

  • A Long-term track record in energy transition/efficiency

  • Ability to raise AUM and has participated in doing this along with fund management

The role:

  • Running a fund and launching a new fund

  • Strong and demonstrable leadership capacity

  • Support Global MD on the day-to-day execution of the strategy with particular emphasis on international expansion

  • Focus on international investment and fund management

  • Support divisional heads with key aspects of day-to-day team management, oversight and execution.

  • Investment - International product development across renewables, fundraising and supporting/leading investment teams

  • Asset management - supporting the team and improving processes

  • Working with other senior members to drive the business forward

The individual:

  • Background in Investment/fund management within Renewable energy

  • Leading and Managing Energy Investments

  • Experience in developing and launching a fund

  • Experience outside of the UK market

  • Investment track record

  • Team Management experience
