Job Description

Responsibilities:

  1. Establish and manage the broker-dealer business, ensuring flawless execution of all operational initiatives including the development and execution of robust business strategies.
  2. Identify and cultivate business opportunities, driving outsized revenue growth across the EMEA region.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients, understanding their needs and ensuring our solutions meet and exceed their expectations.
  4. Represent BestEx Research at industry events and in the media, showcasing our thought leadership in the space.
  5. Ensure all business activities adhere to FCA regulations, implementing robust governance frameworks and staying updated on regulatory changes.
  6. Partner closely with our CEO, Global Head of Business Development, and Chief Product Officer to design and execute innovative product strategies and expansion opportunities.
  7. Recruit, train, and lead a high-caliber sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and high performance.
  8. Stay ahead of industry and market structure trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to strategically position our offerings in the market.
  9. Serve on the Board of Directors of the BestEx Research UK entity.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. 15+ years of experience with a proven track record in institutional equities sales and business development within the electronic trading or algorithmic trading space.
  2. Strong leadership skills with experience in building and managing high-performing teams.
  3. A proactive, innovative mindset with a passion for driving business growth and operational excellence.
  4. Demonstrated ability to establish and manage functional frameworks within a high-growth environment.
  5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop meaningful and lasting relationships with clients and team members.
  6. Deep understanding of market structure, competitive landscape, industry trends, and regulatory environment in the EMEA region.
  7. Outstanding and influential verbal and written communication skills.
