Description:

As a Material Model Engineer, you will be engaged in development and implementation of material models, ensuring they are ready for daily use by our engineering team. You will collaborate closely with our colleagues in the materials laboratory.

Our team engages in a variety of tasks, including FEM analysis, alloy development, constitutive modelling, methodology development, and providing support to workshops, procurement, and service. Our responsibilities lie within the turbine module systems and components in the gas turbine. This role offers the flexibility to work remotely, with the expectation of regular in-office presence to ensure effective collaboration and team integration.

How You'll Make an Impact

Develop and implement constitutive and life material models for high temperature applications Contribute to methodology and procedure development for constitutive and life material modelling Support development and technology projects by assessing, planning and evaluating material testing

What You Bring

Background in solid mechanics, material science or a related field Experience in material modelling Experience with FEM analysis for lifing calculation Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.

A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills Experience with UMAT is an advantage
