Mechanical & Electrical Cyclical Contracts Manager needed in Harrow, £400per day UMBRELLA - Reference:

ROLE PURPOSE

1.1 The role will primarily be responsible for the proper and efficient maintenance ofthe installations, plant and equipment across the housing stock. This is a key rolein terms of delivering services in compliance with health and safety requirementsand is wide ranging and complex-covering planned maintenance, inspection andinstallation of equipment and services. The postholder needs to be experienced inmechanical and electrical works, delivering both service schedules and reactiveworks across a broad spectrum to include lifts, door entry systems, alarm callsystems, fire safety equipment, water testing, gas energy systems and appliances,communal heating & hot water systems and alternative green renewable energysolutions such as ground and air source heat pumps, solar panels.

1.2 To act as lead professional in all aspects of inspections, design and building contractprocurement of works for the service and to provide expert professional and technicaladvice, guidance, training and support in all matters relating to cyclical maintenance ofthe stock in a customer focussed manner.

1.3 To act as project manager for cyclical maintenance and other improvement projects asassigned, providing a professional and efficient service, ensuring that works are carriedout within the agreed constraints of time, budget, quality and performance and incompliance with statutory legislation, building regulations, health and safety policies andfinancial regulations. This is a key compliance role and the surveyor will need to havecurrent knowledge of statutory legislation, building regulations, health and safetylegislation, guidance and best practice and policies and financial regulations.

This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis.
