Job Description

This is a full-time Consultant Psychiatrist role at Farmfield Hospital, a 51-bed secure unit run by the experienced Elysium Healthcare group. The successful candidate will provide medical leadership and work as an active member of the multi-disciplinary team, taking on RC responsibility for 15 patients on the Brockham ward. The role offers a competitive annual salary plus a £8,400 car allowance, as well as a range of other benefits including 30 days annual leave, pension contributions, and wellbeing support.

Main duties of the job

As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for ensuring that people admitted to the hospital are assessed, treated, and discharged safely. Your duties will include medication management, quality assurance, complaints and co-production, delivery of NICE guidance, and leading and managing the CPA and ICR process to ensure full compliance with quality standards. You will be working closely with an established multi-professional team to deliver individualised care and have access to a large and supportive peer group of like-minded professionals.

Person Specification Qualifications
  • You must be a qualified Psychiatrist with appropriate medical qualifications and registration with the GMC.
