Job Description
Spanish Teacher Job, January 2025 start, temporary/supply cover, paid to scale, Ofsted 'Good' School in Wolves Spanish Teacher - KS3 and KS4 January 2025 Start 1-term contract, with the opportunity to go permanent Wolverhampton-based Secondary school - Ofsted rated 'Good' 5 days a week We are working in partnership with a Secondary school in Wolverhampton who are seeking an enthusiastic and committed MFL Teacher to join their team in January 2025. This is a full-time and long-term role for the term with the potential of going permanent.
You will have an opportunity to work in a fantastic, inclusive and supportive Secondary School in Wolverhampton. They have brilliant facilities with modern classrooms, and have recently received a 'Good' in their latest Ofsted report. Having spent time with the Assistant Principal, and touring the school first-hand, the school's culture is impressive and transformative. They have supportive and responsive SLT who have student and staff wellbeing as a priority.
Due to this being a long-term role, full teaching responsibilities will be required, including planning and marking. You must be a qualified teacher (ECTs are welcome to apply) and have recent experience teaching Spanish to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
Your new role
Delivering engaging and creative Spanish lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4. Planning and preparing schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments. Monitoring student progress and providing feedback. Contributing to the development of the department's curriculum. Participating in extracurricular activities such as sports clubs and school trips.
What you'll need to succeed
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. ECT's welcome to apply. Bachelor's degree in MFL or related field Recent experience teaching Spanish at secondary school level. Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members
