What you'll do
Create applications that scale predictably, facilitate development across multiple developers and teams and promote maintainability and extensibility.
E nhance and support existing production applications/platform s.
Design, develop, test and support new micro-service applications.
Write clean code that meets industry standards while adhering to best practices .
Debug application issues by identifying root causes and proposing effective solutions .
Collaborate effectively within / across teams (e.g., QA engineers) during all stages of the S DLC process from design through deployment .
Maintain up-to date knowledge about emerging technology trends .
Actively participate in agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retros and refinement and estimation sessions .
What you'll bring:
Must have:
Extensive system development knowledge with .N ET and C#.
Extensive e xperience with relational d atabases (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server ) .
Extensive knowledge of software engineering best practice s (e.g. OOAD , SOLID, TDD , API First/ REST API).
Extensive knowledge of agile software development methodolog ies ( e.g. Scrum) .
Extensive e xperience of working with CI/CD pipelines (e.g . Octopus Deploy, Team City, Jenkins) .
Extensive e xperience of working with Git (VCS).
Extensive e xperience of test automation (e.g. using pytest ).
Nice to have:
Applied knowledge of Message Broker (e.g. ActiveMQ) .
Applied knowledge of containerised software development (e.g. Docker).
Applied knowledge of document database (e.g. Couchbase).
Knowledge o f Kubernetes, Kafka, Java, Groovy

Your office space
Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There are also plenty of bike shelters and showers.
