Network Architect

Network Architect - via Umbrella 600 - 650/day DOE - short term Contract - Eastbourne Onsite - SCC FLEX CONTRACT

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Network Architect for our customer's DC Internet and Server Refresh initiative who will be coordinating with the server team that will be installing HPE ProLiant Servers.

Your Responsibilities as the suitable Network Architect:

• Coordinate and collaborate with the server team responsible for installing HPE ProLiant Servers.
• Configure and optimize HPE M Series Storage Switches (Model SN3420) to ensure efficient data storage and performance.
• Implement, configure, and maintain Meraki MX Security Devices to ensure secure data centre operations.
• Utilize strong routing and switching skills to ensure network stability, performance, and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues in coordination with other teams (server, security, and operations).

Skills required for the suitable Network Architect:

• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with HPE M Series Storage Switches, especially the SN3420 model.
• Solid experience configuring and managing Meraki MX Security Devices.
• Strong general skills in routing and switching, with experience in protocols like BGP, OSPF, and VLAN management.
• Familiarity with HPE ProLiant server installations and working in team-based environments.
• Relevant certifications such as Cisco CCNP, Meraki, HPE certifications, or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
