Network Architect

Network Architect (SC Cleared) - £550 per day via Umbrella - 7 months contract - Barrow-in-Furness (On-site)- SCC Flex Contract

We are seeking an experienced Network Architect to design, implement, and optimize our advanced network solutions. This role requires in-depth expertise in Palo Alto Firewalls, Cisco ACI, and Cisco Wireless technologies, among other networking disciplines.

Your responsibilities as the Network Architect:

• Network Design & Architecture: Develop and design scalable, secure, and high-performance network architectures based on business requirements and industry best practices.
• Firewall Management: Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Palo Alto Firewalls to ensure optimal network security and threat prevention.
• Software-Defined Networking (SDN): Lead the implementation and management of Cisco ACI environments, including fabric design, tenant creation, policy configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Design, deploy, and maintain Cisco Wireless networks, ensuring robust wireless performance, scalability, and security across the organization.
• Proactively monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to maximize uptime and reliability.

As a successful Network Architect, you will have:

• Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto Firewalls (configuration, policy management, threat prevention).
• Active SC Clearance.
• Proven expertise in Cisco ACI (design, implementation, and management).
• Deep understanding of Cisco Wireless solutions (deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting).
• Proficiency in network protocols and services (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VPN, etc.).
• Advanced understanding of network security principles, including threat detection, intrusion prevention, and segmentation.
