Network Architect (DV)

Our client is an international systems integrator who require a Network Architect to support one of their core programmes.

LOCATION: NORTH EAST OR GLASGOW (ON-SITE)

Network Architect with demonstrated experience to administrate, Secure cloud based Infrastruture. To create conceptual, logical and physical network architectures, documents, testing analyses, test plans and risk assessments to ensure sound architecture which meet client needs

Essential Job Functions

* Analytical and creative problem-solving skills for design, creation, and testing of first-of-type network solutions.
* Skilled in time, priority and task management
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Leadership ability to effectively lead a team.
* Ability to adapt to a changing environment
* Nine or more years of experience in datacentre networks
o CCNP level certification, or alternative vendor equivalent
o Expert-level understanding of fundamental networking principles
o Experience working with network software and hardware
o Solid understanding of routing design (BGP, VRF, OSPF)
o Solid understanding of Layer-2 design
o Experience of network security components (Firewall, IPS)
o Preferred knowledge of HPE, Aruba, Juniper, Fortigate, Checkpoint, F5
o Knowledge of NSX would be a bonus
