Network Product Tester
My client, a large consultancy, is in need of a Network Product tester for a 6 month contract inside IR35, based in West London, requiring 3 days per week on-site and offering 2 days per week remote.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in developing ability to identify and realise improvement opportunities
Good networking skill (L2 VPN, L3 VPN, EVPN, MPLS, SR, LDP, BGP and IGP)
Understanding of workflow engines eg Apache Airflow
Good Python coding skills
Working knowledge NETCONF/REST/RESTCONF/SOAP
Working knowledge of Source control tools (GitLab)
Ability to work from Jira story tickets
Working appreciation of agile methodologies (scrum)
Monitoring/reporting of tests; Metric to capture test coverage and failure rate (using tools such as HipTest, Test Rail, etc.)
Embrace CI/CD Methodology
Experience of Unit Testing, regression testing, integration Testing, Acceptance testing Security Testing and Performance testing using automation tools (eg Robot Framework).
