Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering high-quality occupational therapy services to individuals with a variety of physical, mental, and developmental challenges. Your contributions will be instrumental in promoting independence and enhancing the quality of life for service users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients to evaluate their functional abilities and needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment outcomes.
- Provide therapeutic interventions to help individuals achieve their personal goals and improve their daily living skills.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and treatment.
- Educate and advise patients, families, and caregivers on techniques to enhance functionality and promote well-being.
- Monitor progress, reassess needs, and adjust therapy plans as required.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and patient progress.
- Stay current with best practices, new techniques, and relevant legislation in occupational therapy.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy.
- HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) registration as an Occupational Therapist
