The Operations Director is internal team-facing, reporting into the Global Media Operations Director, galvanising and supporting the team of 5 across Platforms and Reputation Governance to deliver operational excellence across PHD EMEA HQ's Volkswagen Group (VWG) brands.

We are looking for a self-starter who is comfortable leading and inspiring a team, as well as building cross-team relationships to meet deliverables objectives. Someone who has an acute eye for detail ensuring that processes and guidelines are followed. More than this, we are looking for someone who is keen to work with a thought-leading agency and help shape the future of their entire media operations. The candidate will be expected to support the team to deliver against these key objectives:

  1. Oversee the strict following of processes across all divisions of the VWG team at PHD EMEA.
  2. Support in the adoption of the service desk approach to:
    1. Improve the operational efficiencies of all teams.
    2. Improve team effectiveness via following documented processes.
    3. Generate high quality data to facilitate accurate utilisation analysis.
  3. Relating to tools, systems and processes, support and spread ongoing best practice development and documentation across PHD EMEA.

• Confidence owning and maintaining senior internal relationships.
• Experience leading and managing the growth and development of a team.
• Strong communication, listening skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent numerical skills and confidence analysing data using Excel.
• Responsiveness to feedback.
• Strong organizational skills, being able to manage multiple projects at once.
• Strong spoken & written English.
• Ability to speak other European languages is desired, but not essential.
