Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of People & Culture to lead and oversee the HR team at a fantastic, thriving Tech Company . The successful candidate will drive the development and implementation of HR strategies and ensure the culture of the company is at its best.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement a comprehensive people strategy that aligns with the company vision and goals
  • Oversee the management and professional development of the People & Culture Manager, who reports to you
  • Opportunity to lead, design and deliver people and culture strategies to support rapid expansion
  • Develop innovative HR People initiatives, ensuring compliance with employment law and regulations to develop and implement company policies and procedures for best practice to thrive and grow
  • Provide a commercial focused mindset to advise and translate business needs into HR requirements
  • Partner with the executive team to identify the skills and competencies needed to drive business growth and success
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to absorb multiple perspectives to promote vision, action, and strategic growth
  • Foster a diverse and inclusive workplace where all employees feel valued and thrive
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers and employees on people-related issues
  • Project manage operational HR programmes and provide detailed commercial advice
  • Work with in-house recruiter to ensure attraction and retention of top talent
  • Develop and implement a leadership development and training programmes that build strong leaders and talent density at all levels of the organisation
  • Contribute more widely to leadership and regularly speak at events & webinars
Requirements:
  • Experience in a HR or People & Culture role - ideally for 3-4 years
  • Ideally qualified in HR or studying to become so
  • Knowledge of HR principles and practices
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in HRIS software and MS Office Suite
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Somebody with high levels of empathy who always puts themselves in the shoes of the employee when designing better ways of working
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • A natural communicator with a disarming style
