Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging PSHE lessons for KS3 and KS4 students, fostering their personal growth and well-being.
  • Cover key areas such as mental health, relationships, financial literacy, careers, and citizenship.
  • Encourage students to develop confidence, empathy, and decision-making skills.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes open discussion and respect for different perspectives.
  • Work closely with other staff members to ensure the PSHE curriculum aligns with the school's values and wider educational goals.
  • Stay informed on the latest developments in PSHE education and safeguarding policies.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Strong subject knowledge in PSHE and a commitment to supporting students' personal and social development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
