Planning & Quality PM, Grocery Partnerships

Amazon is looking for a proactive, results-oriented Planning & Quality PM to join the Grocery Partnerships (GP) PM team, to be based out of London, Paris, Madrid, Munich or Milan. The person will play a critical role in the growth and customer satisfaction of our Grocery Partnerships business (major local grocery players offering their selection to Amazon customers). This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in an exciting and groundbreaking initiative at Amazon.

A successful candidate must have a strong track record in business analysis, organizational skills and deliver results by rolling up her/his/their sleeves to dive deep independently. To thrive in this role, you will need to enjoy the idea of solving business problems, as well as navigating complex and/or ambiguous situations to relentlessly drive initiatives forward.

Key job responsibilities
  1. Own the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) weekly load and process for the network of stores in our IT & ES locales.
  2. Act as the worldwide SME for the S&OP & Speed processes for the GP organization, aiming at reaching forecast accuracy goals, increasing efficiencies and liaising with tech teams to work on long-term process automation.
  3. Monitor WW forecasting and speed input and output KPIs during weekly/monthly/quarterly business reviews.
  4. Lead the quality workstream for the GP org, connecting operational performance to business outputs, and liaising with Ops teams to drive focus on the most prioritized areas.
  5. Create tools and simplify processes to achieve business and efficiency goals.
  6. Deep dive on complex problems and elaborate bright, actionable and scalable solutions.
  7. Be a data owner by creating, updating and improving queries and provide analytics support when needed.
  8. Identify opportunities to scale and offshore manual processes.
Minimum Requirements
  1. Strong academic background.
  2. 3+ years of program or project management experience.
  3. Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
  4. Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization.
  5. Strong analytical mindset and an ability to solve complex business problems with data.
  6. Strong Knowledge of Excel (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.).
  7. SQL experience is preferred.
