Are you an experienced electrical engineer passionate about shaping the future of energy? Proxima Fusion is seeking a leader to spearhead the development of electrical systems for stellarator fusion power plants. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in cross-disciplinary teams in fast-paced R&D environments. Experience with high-current power supplies for superconducting systems or development of experimental diagnostics equipment is a strong bonus.

• An experienced electrical engineering leader with 10+ years of experience in designing, developing, and commissioning advanced systems;
• An R&D specialist with a strong track record in prototype development and first-of-a-kind projects;
• Experienced in cross-disciplinary development, particularly the mechanical and thermal integration of electrical systems;
• A professional well-versed in industry standards and regulations;

• Leading and coordinating the design, development, and implementation of complex electrical systems;
• Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams, being responsible for integration and verification of electrical systems;
• Supporting R&D and procurement partnerships, driven by the strategic needs of the company;
• Taking a key role in the growth and development of electrical engineering teams.
