Job Description
CK Group are recruiting for a Process Development Engineer, to join a global materials manufacturing company, based near Ormskirk on a full time, permanent basis. The salary on offer is £35,000-£40,000pa, dependent upon experience.

Our client is a global leader in manufacturing glass for architectural, automotive and technical sectors. They are also involved with the decarbonisation of the glassmaking process.
Location:
This position will be based at the company's site near Ormskirk. Please note, a full UK driving licence and car ownership is required, due to the company's location.

The Role:
- Key member of an R&D technology team who have the responsibility to develop the company's industrial manufacturing processes.
- Focused on customer needs and expectations at all stages.
- Use your data analysis skills and knowledge of digitalisation techniques, to understand correlations and trends within the manufacturing processes.
- Look at specifications and make improvements to the processes and product performance.
Your Background:
- Background in a relevant manufacturing industry. Experience of industrial manufacturing techniques and process control strategies are essential.
- Experience in Process or Product development and/or quality control would be advantageous.
- Strong analytical and data analysis skills experience of using digital tools and approaches to the analysis of large data sets.
- Able to leverage your knowledge of digitalisation techniques to R&D processes and activities.
- Graduated with either a Physical Science or Mechanical/Material Engineering degree.
