Job Description

The Product Manager is a senior management level position responsible for managing a broad range of Product Management employees, setting strategy and providing direction, leadership, and budgetary management. Additionally, this role will be responsible for the development of product plans, strategies, and tactics while coordinating product lines through product life-cycles in coordination with the broader Product Management team. The overall objective of this role is to coordinate the promotion of products to develop new markets, increase share of market and obtain competitive position.


Responsibilities:

  1. Work with our global Client Executives, Product, Operations, and Development partners to ensure completion of the Citi Funds Services Operating Model. Ensure all parties are accountable for their tasks and progress as planned.
  2. Manage, prioritize and provide visibility in multiple related project events.
  3. Manage stakeholders and key organizations in order to build and manage relationships with each.
  4. Direct the creation of multiple work projects and manage their alignment to business goals and strategy.
  5. Drive adherence to project processes, procedures, methods, and standards for project delivery and leverage across the managed portfolio.
  6. Lead the facilitation, coordination, and arbitration of cross-functional macro level topics within/across programs and with Senior Management.
  7. Lead the identification and drive resolution of issues, including those outside established projects of work.
  8. Work with Product partners to define the product offering.
  9. Work with technology partners to define the solution.
  10. Support product solutioning to ensure the implementation of robust operating models and minimize manual processing.
  11. Develop and implement strategies and plans, including communication, training, and support plans tailored to Citi's processes and standards.
  12. Produce structured MIS to all stakeholders with regard to status of managed projects/programs.
  13. Support Fund Services Shared Services Head with daily, weekly, and monthly client governance interactions and reporting.
  14. Proactively identify/manage risks and controls to the highest standards.

Qualifications:

  1. 10+ years relevant project/program management experience, preferred experience in running large programs of work for Securities Services.
  2. At least 5-10 years' experience in leading and developing project teams/professionals through dynamic growth and delivering saves, planning capacity.
  3. Significant experience in Securities Services in client facing roles.
  4. Track record in standardizing and driving procedures and policies across program and project management practice.
  5. Extensive relationship building and stakeholder management skills.
  6. Good interpersonal communication skills. Able to communicate with internal and external business partners.
  7. Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  8. Ability to interact confidently with senior management and/or Clients.
  9. Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
  10. Independent, self-motivated and hard working.
  11. Executive presence: ability to have voice heard.
  12. Time flexible (holiday schedule is client based, time schedule is task-based, hybrid work required).
  13. Good working knowledge of project methodologies and tools, MS Project, MS Excel and PowerPoint.

Education:

  1. Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
  2. Master's degree preferred.

This role will cover Funds services globally and be a new function in the team, managing our end state vision, ensuring workflows are updated, and overseeing the implementation of the changes needed to move into our end state model. Role will require candidate to collaborate with a series of concurrent projects to ensure all teams are synchronized with their deliveries and cross workstream dependencies.
