A multinational manufacturer is seeking a Production Manager for their facility in North Bristol - £55,000

Your new company
A multinational FMCG manufacturing business with a site based in North Bristol is seeking a Production Manager to join their established work-force. With a proven track record and a healthy order book, this business will provide long-term security whilst actively investing in your career development.

Your new role
As the Production Manager, you'll be reporting in to the Group Operations Director. You will be expected to take full control of the production facility, supporting in the delivery of KPI targets whilst upholding their H&S standards at all times. You will be managing a 2-shift pattern, so flexibility may be required for out-of-hour calls. You will be direct line managing a team of 8 supervisors with overall responsibility for 70 colleagues. Within this role, you will be expected to take the lead on continuous improvement activities to drive performance and reduce costs where possible.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in your application for this Production Manager role, you'll be required to have worked in a leadership role within a manufacturing facility previously. You will have budgetary experience, and it would be beneficial to have the experience of managing a localised P&L. To further aid your application for the Production Manager vacancy, you will ideally hold a professional qualification in Lean / 6 Sigma, however this will not be considered crucial to your application. Further to this, they require you to have worked within an FMCG or bulk / patch manufacturing process previously.

What you'll get in return
As the Production Manager, you'll be paid an annual salary of up to £55,000. In addition to this salary, you'll be given 25 days' holiday, join the leadership bonus scheme and be entitled to a range of company benefits upon completion of your probationary period.
