Your new company
As a Project Design Engineer, you'll be part of a forward-thinking organisation that values creativity, collaboration, and excellence. Reporting directly to the Project Design Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in managing and releasing products. Whether it's individual live projects or contributing to a product owner team, your impact will be significant.
Your new role
In this role, you'll oversee project design projects from conception through to supporting build and installation. Your responsibilities include ensuring on-time completion, adherence to schedule, quality, and cost parameters. You'll produce accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs), layout, and fabrication drawings, collaborating closely with customers and suppliers to address design specifics and aesthetics. Additionally, you'll own a product within a product owner team, monitoring quality and cost while realising the product roadmap.

What you'll need to succeed
As a Project Design Engineer, your educational background should include a degree or HND/HNC in an Engineering discipline. Equally important is your hands-on experience of 2-3 years in an engineering design office. Proficiency in BOM Creation, Draughting, and Design for manufacturing is essential, complemented by fluency in 3D CAD. Beyond technical skills, effective communication (both written and oral), excellent analytical abilities, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively are crucial. Your motivation will drive you to set and meet timelines, inspiring your team to achieve outstanding results.

Joining our clients' team means more than just a job. You'll have the opportunity to own products, contribute to exceeding internal and customer expectations, and be part of an environment that fosters growth and innovation.
