Job Description
Project Engineer

Your new company
We are seeking a Project Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in the planning, development, and delivery of assigned projects. The focus of the role will be primarily on the delivery of larger contracts and off-site build solutions offered by the company for the water industry.
Your new role
As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting with the planning, development, and delivery of assigned projects. You will help coordinate with site, workshop, and office-based personnel working on each project to ensure contracts are delivered according to the awarded conditions of the contract. You will help conduct site visits to plan, monitor, and close out project delivery activities. You will liaise with personnel working on the project regarding varied aspects of the contract to confirm that each stage is happening properly and on schedule. You will develop your own safety awareness through training and experiential learning, then enforce safe work practices on-site.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate for the Project Engineer position should have an Engineering or Science degree, HND, or equivalent. Ideally, they should have one-year experience in a project engineering, technical, or applications/R&D role within the utilities sector and/or M&E engineering environment. Experience within the UK water industry is an advantage, but not essential. The candidate should be able to demonstrate an ability to work on multiple projects or initiatives simultaneously. They should have advanced MS Office skills with the ability to analyse and manipulate data sets. Additionally, report writing skills are required.

What you'll get in return
In return, the successful candidate will be rewarded with a competitive salary of up to £36,000 and an excellent rewards package, which includes hybrid working, 29 days annual leave, a flexible working policy, overtime payments, long service rewards, group income protection, health and wellbeing support. What you need to do now
