Practice Area

Travel, Cities and Infrastructure (TCI) Practice Area is one of BCG's newest industry practices. The PA focuses on Infrastructure, travel, transportation, cities, real estate and logistics which form a significant and very dynamic part of the global economy. Massive amounts of public and private capital are flowing into physical infrastructure upgrades as well as sweeping changes driven by digitization and the climate transition. Very significant public and private entities exist in this space with bold ambitions over the coming decade. These topics also have far-reaching effects in areas such as climate resilience, holistic liveability, sustainable mobility and equality. The PA collaborates closely with the Public Sector, PI, Energy and TMT PAs so as to bring the best of BCG to our clients. With its ambitions to build, advance and move the communities of tomorrow, the PA intends to be a voice of reason in its industries.

What You'll Do

As a generalist Project Leader or Principal affiliated to BCG Transport, Cities and Infrastructure practice, you will be working alongside some of the world's top minds in the industry. You will work hand in hand with the decision makers of our client company, having a real seat at the table. Through your project you will accompany companies from a variety of sectors and industries through decisive changes around the globe. The majority of your time will be spent as part of the BCG TCI team composed of members of different backgrounds collaborating intensively and building a long-term relation with our client.

You will also dedicate time to further develop and deepen BCG's expertise in this field of expertise, as well as supporting BCG Partners in business development initiatives. On a day to day basis this will translate in:

• Oversee and manage large-scale infrastructure, city development, and transportation projects.
• Develop strategic plans for infrastructure development, city planning, and transportation networks.
• Work closely with clients to understand their needs, provide expert advice, and deliver effective solutions.
• Conduct financial analysis for infrastructure and city development projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and investment analysis.
• Provide guidance on large-scale engineering and construction projects, including risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
• Assist with real estate and facility-related projects, including strategic planning and operational improvements.
• Develop strategies to make infrastructure projects more resilient to climate change and promote sustainability.
• Help clients leverage digital technologies in their infrastructure and city development projects.

What You'll Bring

• Over 7 years of work experience gained in a lateral environment with a focus on Transportation, Cities and Infrastructures topics
• Have experience actively managing multiple client and stakeholder relationships and networking within the client organization to understand their needs and help influence the client agenda
• Have the interpersonal skills to partner with executive management teams as they implement a new vision and passion for enabling leaders to drive change within organizations set you apart
• Be a collaborative team player with positive attitude, high ethical standards and experienced in international work
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English, in addition to a strong presence and leadership skills
