Your new role
In this role, you will be working on 2 MoD sites, one being high profile, and will be responsible for numerous projects up to the value of 25k. This will include a large variety of building types, including aircraft hangars, accommodation blocks, leisure facilities etc. Works can involve building fabric, M&E, roof repairs etc.
You will be responsible for coordinating the daily activities of the site team, ensuring the safe working practices of Skilled Persons, and making sure all operatives adhere to JSP 375 requirements. You will support end users in developing new work requirements, including the submission of formal Additional Works projects. Additionally, you will oversee the effective, compliant, and timely delivery of new works and small projects, ensuring they meet statutory legislation and MoD Mandatory requirements. Compliance with all Health and Safety and Environmental standards and policies is crucial. You will also review Risk Assessments and Method Statements to ensure they meet acceptable standards, and, when necessary, act as the Method Statement Coordinator to maintain a consistent approach on site.
What you'll need to succeed

To be experienced in project delivery from an FM or Construction background

Experienced in team management and subcontractors

It is desirable that you hold SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) or are willing to undertake training in this area.

You MUST be able to pass an SC clearance

You will be travelling between 2 sites, so you must hold a full UK driving licence

Proven track record of working on small works/ maintenance refurbishment projects & capable of managing large projects at one given time
