Your new company
You will be joining a main contractor operating in the water sector. This high-profile organisation has a strong pipeline of work in the water sector and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Project Manager to join their team.
Your new role
As Project Manager, you will be based in the Devonshire area and be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Creating and maintaining programmes as well as producing forecasts and procurement schedules
- Approving subcontractor invoices and ensuring payments are made within timescales
- Monitoring and reviewing financial and delivery performance
- Coordinating with the client and subcontractors regarding H&S audits/inspections
- Liaising with the delivery team to ensure successful project delivery.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you must have:
- Experience of managing and delivering civil, mechanical and/or electrical works from inception through to completion in the water (clean and/or waste) industry
- Understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance
- Sound communication and leadership abilities
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
