Are you an experienced IT Project Manager who is looking for a fresh challenge and an environment which is fast paced, vibrant, fun and where you will have a good degree of autonomy? Superb opportunity to join an established & growing IT MSP / Reseller company that has an excellent culture. The company is c200 employees with a turnover of c£100m. In this role you will get to work on a wide range of IT transformational projects across IT services, cloud, security and infrastructure.
The core areas of focus are within; Project Delivery, Business & Client Relationship Management and Delivery Excellence . This role reports to the Head of Programmes and Project Management.
Knowledge
- Sound management, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Practical working knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring, and controlling projects.
- Practical working understanding of the procurement management including negotiation, contracting with and management of third parties.
- Sound knowledge of project management methods including PRINCE2.
- Sound knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures
- Ability to find ways of solving or pre-empting problems.
Experience
- A demonstrable track record of leading teams and individuals within their area of responsibility.
- A demonstrable track record of managing and delivering small-medium non-complex projects (or large complex projects as part of a wider team) within a commercial environment.
- Experience of leading effective cross-functional teams.
- Skilled at building relationships with internal and external stakeholders to respond effectively to business opportunities.
- Client facing, commercial experience gained from working within range of organisations and/or business sectors.
- Experience of working with sales teams and other technical and business resources to capture clients' requirements.
- Experience of delivering IT transformational projects.
- Experience of managing 3rd party providers and sub-contractors.
- Prince 2 qualification or similar.
Monday to Friday - hybrid working (1 to 2 in the office in Segensworth Junc 9 M27).
