Project Manager (m/f/x) - Field Service Developmentin our Global Operational Excellence team! As our Project Manager, you will work alongside a team of dedicated professionals, utilizing project management and analytical skills to shape and transform our field service organization.
Your challengesThe purpose of our team is to improve efficiency and satisfaction in the customer experience across our customer call centers and field service technicians, as well as accelerating the digitalization of our customer experience. Our field service organization already delivers a high service quality with happy customers and engaged employees, therefore, focus is on future-proofing our position in the market. Your primary tasks will be to:
- Identify improvement opportunities that deliver field service effectiveness through hands-on involvement and market visits.
- Build and lead improvement and transformation initiatives across multiple functions, partnering with business leads to set strategy, scope projects, assess impact potential, secure resources, and drive execution.
- Ensure our digital tools become enablers of growth and excellence by identifying needs and converting them into solutions in strong collaboration with the team.
- Coordinate and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders, to ensure transparency and alignment and drive related change management.
- Drive engagement with our markets by supporting and equipping our managers with solid performance management processes and tools.
- Our team was founded one year ago, and this position is brand new - giving you the opportunity to make your mark on how to fulfill the responsibilities of this position, thereby making your mark on the VELUX organization.
To succeed in this position, you need to enjoy working in a matrix organization, be great at influencing people, have strong strategic thinking skills, an ability to implement plans in complex organizational structures and motivate people to work with a common agenda. To be the ideal candidate for this role, you:
- Have a solid track record of driving strategic complex and cross-functional projects and a solid project management toolbox (steering committee reporting, project plans, budgets, risk management etc.).
- Are a skilled professional with +5 years of experience within optimizing Field Service and Post-Sales processes.
- Have sound problem-solving skills.
- Apply a highly structured approach to your work.
- Are organizationally savvy with strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence on all levels.
- Excellent verbal and written English.
You will be working out of our offices in either Hamburg or Paris (Morangis) . Since the role is global and new you can expect 40-50 travel days per year. The amount may vary based on ongoing projects/priorities and over time and can be planned in proper time in advance.
