Job Description

Barrington James Board & Executive Partners are exclusively collaborating with a dynamic oncology company who are focused on improving clinical outcomes for patients suffering from rare oncological diseases.

With over a decade of commercial presence across Europe, we are now expanding further into France, Spain, and Italy. To do this we are searching for an individual to drive market entry through effective site activation and to secure reimbursement by navigating relevant funding streams and identifying interim revenue opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Devise and implement commercial strategies for France, Spain, and Italy, with a focus on hospital activation and market growth.
  • Foster relationships with key stakeholders, national medical associations, and patient associations to drive product advocacy and awareness.
  • Secure reimbursement for treatments by managing multi-stakeholder engagements and guiding the reimbursement submission process.
  • Develop and oversee sales plans, forecasts, and budgets, working to achieve targets within the agreed budget parameters.
  • Build relationships with key hospital accounts and referral sites, ensuring effective account planning to maximize sales growth.
  • Identify and collaborate with sites and KOLs to facilitate clinical research and trials in relevant indications.
  • Work with the Strategic Marketing Director to coordinate promotional activities and events for maximum customer engagement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Business.
  • 10+ years in pharmaceutical or medical device sales, with demonstrated success and experience in market launches and reimbursement landscapes.
  • Background in rare oncology and/or interventional radiology, along with a strong network in the healthcare sector, is highly advantageous.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation skills, and the ability to work independently with strong prioritization abilities.
  • Fluency in French and English required, Spanish or Italian advantageous.
