Job Description

MUST BE BASED IN BELGIUM

Proficiency in English, French/Dutch is a plus

50% on-site in brussels, 50% remote working

Are you passionate about IT resiliency? Join our clients in Brussels, where you'll ensure IT continuity and drive security innovation. This role offers a flexible work arrangement, with 50% on-site in Brussels and 50% remote.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Application Owners and Continuity contacts to ensure proper IT continuity.
  • Manage and deliver key resiliency documentation, including Application Impact Analysis, Continuity Run Books, and Disaster Recovery Exercise documents.
  • Identify and address potential gaps in resiliency deliverables.
  • Coordinate disaster recovery exercises, including validation of Continuity Run Books, capacity studies, and risk assessments.
  • Facilitate disaster recovery exercises during nights/weekends (three times a year).
  • Build the Master Run Book by consolidating actions from required Continuity Run Books.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proficient in English (Dutch or French is a plus).
  • At least 5 years of experience in roles such as Resiliency Engineer or similar roles.
  • Strong knowledge of IT resiliency challenges and best practices.
  • Expertise in technology landscapes such as Windows/Linux environments, mainframes, cloud platforms, application development, databases, and Middleware systems.
  • Familiarity with application development, databases, and Middleware technologies.
  • Experience reviewing and validating architectural and technical diagrams from a resiliency standpoint.
  • Proven experience in developing processes and procedures related to IT continuity.
  • Strong understanding of Scrum values
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of collaborating across various teams.

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, with a 50% on-site presence in Brussels and 50% remote work, providing flexibility while ensuring collaboration with teams and stakeholders.
