Aberbeeg Medical Practice is a well-established surgery withapproximately under new management, we currently have a fantastic opportunityfor a General Practitioner to join their close knit teams. You will workautonomously alongside our welcoming and supportive Nursing and Administrationteam.
An excellent opportunity to develop skills and broadenexperience within this proactive surgery.
Main duties of the jobYour responsibilities as a General Practitioner;
Thefollowing are the core responsibilities of the General Practitioner. There maybe on occasion, a requirement to carry out other tasks; this will be dependentupon factors such as workload and staffing levels
- Perform clinical examinations of patients to assess,diagnose and monitor conditions
- Carry out patient consultations at home and within thesurgery
- Monitor patients' conditions and wellbeing
- Carry out home visits where necessary
- Diagnose and treat various illnesses/ailments
- Liaise with other healthcare professionals (e.g.,midwives, pharmacists, health visitors and psychiatrists) as part ofmultidisciplinary teams

The successful post-holder will manage a caseload anddeal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring thehighest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients.
In accordance with the practice timetable, as agreed, thepost-holder will make themselves available to undertake a variety of duties,including surgery consultations, telephone consultations and queries, visitingpatients at home, checking and signing repeat prescriptions and dealing withqueries, paperwork and correspondence in a timely fashion.

Take part in practice management and administration

Person Specification Qualifications- Member of the GMC Register
- Registered on Welsh Performers List
- Experience of working in a primary care
