Salaried GP

Howdale Group Practice are looking to welcome a salaried GP to join the team on a permanent basis for 4-6 sessions a week. We offer the option to become a partner at the surgery (if desired).
Main duties of the job- The delivery of high-quality medical care to our patients.
- Working collaboratively, accepting an equal share of the practice workload, including on call doctor and telephone triage roles.
- Effective management of long-term conditions, accepting delegated responsibility for a specific area (or areas) of the QOF.
- Carrying out home visits where necessary.
- Maintaining accurate clinical records in conjunction with good practice, policy and guidance.
- Processing of administration in a timely manner, including referrals, repeat and acute prescription requests and other associated administrative tasks.
- Contributing to the promoting and successful implementation of continuous improvement, development and maintenance of the practice including clinical governance and training.
- Ensuring compliance with the appraisal process and completing the revalidation process.
We are a 3 partner GMS practice with a list size of approximately 7,900, which is growing. We are based across two sites, Downham Market and Marham; both sites are dispensing and we use SystmOne. We offer:

Person Specification Qualifications- Be a fully qualified GP with GMC registration.
- Have experience of working in a primary care environment.
- Be able to understand the needs of the patient and be sensitive and empathic.
- Be committed to supporting all the team and contribute to the development of the Practice.
- Continue with ongoing professional development.
