I am seeking an experienced Sales Administrator / Customer Support Executive to join my rapidly expanding client, an FMCG company based in North Manchester.

Candidates will have experience of sales administration / order processing and have dealt with either:

  • Amazon (& other ecommerce)
  • Wholesaler accounts
  • Major multiples / High Street
  • Discount retailers

You will act as the lead point of day-to-day contact for existing UK and International customers. You will be processing, administrating sales orders and overall end to end customer support as well as covering for other members of the customer support team.

Key tasks include:

  • Manage Amazon UK and Amazon EU. Including processing of orders through internal system SAP, arranging shipping through Vendor Central building ASN (Advanced shipping notifications) creating all relevant documents/labelling and shipping to relevant depots through pallet distribution portals. Ensuring all orders are processed and shipped in a timely manner working to strict deadlines.
  • Tracking weekly orders and providing information of availability to the internal departments.
  • Invoicing shipments on Vendor central.
  • Taking accountability for the end-to-end process of any returns, short claims, debit notes to a high standard
  • Tracking chargebacks and working with Customer Development Manager where these can be reduced.
  • Taking ownership if any issues/obstacles are preventing sales being delivered and seeing these through.
  • Ensure that sales are invoiced quickly and efficiently, and that the appropriate payment and credit terms are in place with all customers
  • Arrange samples as and when requested
  • Respond quickly to all customer requests and queries by telephone/email
  • Act as lead point of day-to-day Amazon contact for all internal functions:
  • Process customer complaints/discrepancies as necessary, investigating and conclude through our complaint's procedure
  • Arrange any credit notes needed for customers
  • Any additional administrative duties requested by the team

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in a similar administrative or customer support role is essential.
  • Previous experience of order entry, dispatch and arranging logistics
  • The drive to make sure all customer orders are delivered on time and in full.
  • A positive 'can do' attitude.

  • A team player who works flexibly.
  • A problem solver who is solutions focused.
