We are seeking an ambitious and dynamic Sales Manager to join our team and drive the adoption of innovative banking solutions for corporate, financial, and institutional clients. This role is ideal for someone looking to excel in B2B sales within the financial services sector.

Who We Are Looking For
The focus will be on non-lending banking products, including payments solutions, client-segregated accounts, and deposit accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Acquisition: Identify and engage prospective clients, understand their needs, and recommend suitable banking solutions.
- Product Promotion: Present and promote payments, client-segregated accounts, and deposit products to align with client requirements.
- Sales Target Achievement: Build a strong sales pipeline, convert leads into successful deals, and contribute to team sales targets.
- Market Analysis: Conduct research to identify market trends, competitor activity, and client demands, adapting sales strategies as needed.
- Relationship Management: Serve as the primary contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and providing ongoing support.
- Collaboration: Partner with internal teams, including operations, compliance, and product development, to ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery.
- Reporting: Track sales activities, maintain accurate CRM records (Hubspot), and prepare performance reports.

Key Skills & Competencies
- Sales Expertise: Proven ability to engage, influence, and negotiate with clients, including success in closing deals from cold calls.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial products clearly and handle regulatory requirements effectively.
- Client-Centric Approach: Passionate about understanding client needs and delivering tailored solutions.
- Teamwork: Strong team player, able to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret market trends and financial data to develop actionable sales strategies.
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements in all client interactions and processes.
Experience
- Previous experience in sales or client-facing roles within banking, payments, or financial services.
- Familiarity with selling regulated products such as payments, client money accounts, or deposits.
Technical Knowledge
Experience in the following areas is advantageous:
- UK and global payments systems (eg, SWIFT).
- Virtual/crypto assets and tokenisation.
- Islamic finance.
- Deposits and interest margins.
- EMIs, PSPs, APIs, and Open Banking.
- Proficiency in Excel and CRM tools like Hubspot.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field is preferred but not essential.
- Demonstrated numerical and analytical skills.
