Job Description

Sales Office Manager + £45-55k salary + £1250-£2250 monthly bonus + brand new role + 1 day WFH once trained

Our client who started their business in 1984 are a very well established foodservice provider. Servicing some of London's top restaurants, hotels, casinos, sports stadiums, universities and contract caterers all within the M25 area.

Our client are looking for an experienced Office Manager for the Sales division, managing a team of 6xAccount Managers and 2xField Sales Consultants and 1xSupervisor. Currently based in Camden but due to growth of the business, they have recently invested in much larger premises and in Summer 2025 they will be moving to the new site. So the successful candidate must be able to travel to both Camden and Enfield.

Sales Office Manager role responsibilities:

The Sales Office Manager is accountable for the targeted sales levels and productivity targets for the depot through the effective leadership of their account managers.

You will be given autonomy in your role and encouraged to implement new ideas in order to lead your team to success

You will also have a hands on approach and possess the ability to effectively coach your team in order to achieve conversion and sales targets whilst effectively building good relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve our vision of "being every chef's first choice".

As the Sales Office Manager you'll have:

  • Strong leadership skills and an ability to inspire sales teams
  • Previous experience successfully managing sales teams ideally from a food service industry
  • Ability to deliver professional sales training would be a strong advantage
  • Proven track record of achieving targets and driving sales growth in a business
  • Customer driven with a collaborative and hands on approach
  • Ability to think and act in a commercial way that makes sustainable profit
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding off, our marketplace and the food industry generally
  • Relationship and account management to a high level of professionalism and effectiveness
  • Challenging, yet intrepid with the ability to perform effectively in complex and difficult environments
  • Team focused with the ability to achieve success through others
  • Key decision maker with regards to winning new business v retention and growth of existing accounts
